“Nice location and excellent service. ”

“Amazing: • food • room • facilities Not quite 5*: • location • service The hotel is huge and impressive, and the place is full of staff. But the service is variable. People really want to help you and some of the staff are super ‘on it’ and efficient. Others, not so much. When we arrived we were taken to the wrong room - a mistake with the number. Then the tv didn’t work. Coffee and tea machine means a kettle - no coffee machine. The hydrotherapy pool wasn’t working - when I asked, the staff……

“It was a nice experience overall living in Taj for two days. One of the best things is the staff was very helpful in arranging tours and booking taxis. But one point Taj might improve is, though we have paid online for such a room for three people, we were told still that we have to be charged for an extra bed, which is not expected when we placed the order. ”

“Our second stay at this property, the personal remembered us from before and they looked after us. There are a lot of people to mention but highlighting some of those fantastic guys who looked after us where Miraz the chef who looked after all our culinary needs, Yogesh, mustafa and srijita looking after us at breakfast. Vijay and all at the pool area looking after us. All the cleaning staff were amazing. Had a great 11days at the property Krishna the manager was attentive to all our needs. Plus……

“The property is spread out. Some of the rooms are in a four plex building, while some are single chalets or duplexes. Dining restaurants are quite far from the majority of rooms, requiring walking or taking a golf cart ride. The buildings are generally well maintained as are the grounds and landscape. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms ( relative to the square footage) are small. The resort has plenty of staff, but there is no sense of prompt customer service. From the room if one calls……

“I had a very pleasant stay at Fairfield by Marriott Goa Calangute. The overall experience was excellent and the hospitality from the staff really stood out. The customer service was professional, friendly, and always ready to help whenever needed. Housekeeping did a great job as well — the room was kept very clean and well maintained throughout the stay.
