“Great place to stay and relax with family just before Christmas.Loved the pool and snooker table!”

“No issues with the stay, complimentary butter, Jam and milk in the fridge. Along with sugar, tea, coffee and biscuits. Even had washing powder. Only issue was when sat on the sofa there was no table to put your drinks on, I ended up using a waste paper bin turned upside down. In the bathroom the glass shower door you can’t open so have to get in at the far end of the bath and walk down the bath, with the water on this gets slippery so could do with a bath mat.”

“Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it ”

“Great communication directly with owners. Dealing with Expedia was awful. Parking was easy on street....nicely decorated house with good facilities.”

“Unfortunately when we arrived at the property, the cleaners were still cleaning. We were meant to check in from 4:30pm, we arrived at 5:28 and the cleaners were only half way done. We had to wait about 3hours for them to finish. The cleaning was mediocre for a deep cleaning. But the stay was good for us as we made use of the local area and the house was nice it just wasn’t spotless for a deep clean. We were able to check out at 12 instead of 10am only because we sent evidence of the fact that we……

“This was the perfect stay for a large group of friends (plus baby), with plenty of space and welcoming hosts. Sarah was very helpful before we arrived and gave us a very thorough tour to help us settle in. Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked. We definitely would stay again!”

“House was OK, some bits poorly maintained in the house and were reported but little response, piles of rubbish outside, garden a mess. Overall it could be better but it was usable, I wouldn’t return. Local area is OK, lots of shops etc. ”
