"Upon arrival only 2 housekeeping staff on duty and our room was late being ready. Entering the room, we noticed the sheer drapes wete torn and tattered and the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly with a horrible noise. The bed was not firm and the other guests noisy. We checked out the next day...2 days early. Not recommended this property. There is a reason the previous owner...Hilton lost its rating. Bad experience"

"Room was clean and the breakfast was delicious, but, this wasn’t the experience I expect of a Kimpton. Clearly understaffed. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and no one offered us so much as a coffee while we waited. The room was fine but nothing special, very noisy second floor room right next to the elevator with a bed that was not a full King. I asked to be moved to a quieter room but was told “no at the rate you paid” despite the fact I had paid for a nice King room. We wanted to have a night cap at the bar but it was covered in dirty drinks so we sat at a table, not served, for 15 min. Right next to the bar. When I went to the bar to ask for a drink I was told if I wanted table service I had to go back over to the host (no one was at the host stand) and wait to be seated. We just left. When I went back 15 minutes later to get a drink to take up to my room the bar was still covered in empty dirty glasses. In the morning we waited a long time to be seated for breakfast and to be served. We came to have a nice stay for our anniversary and it was was a huge disappointment."

"The staff were great and the price was fantastic! Breakfast was grab and go, and there was nothing much worth grabbing. Our room smelled terrible, like body odor, the floors were so sticky, and we found a large empty liquor bottle that housekeeping missed. In spite of the cleanliness, we do appreciate the friendliness of the staff."
