"We were very pleased with the hotel. Everything was clean. It looked very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. There was a variety to choose from. We liked the options available. There were hot items and well as cold. I would stay here again. It is close to downtown Galena. We didn't get to use the pool, we ran out of time but it looked nice. The hot tub was large. The slide looked fun. Overall a good value. I would recommend the hotel. "

"I am giving this hotel top marks across the board based on one simple interaction. My wife & I stayed here for a family wedding in Moline. My wife helped the bride all day of the wedding & in so doing did not get enough water. She woke up with a severe leg cramp overnight & when I spoke to the front desk, even though it was the middle of the night, they gave me a banana when I asked without hesitation. Thank you for the rescue, my wife was understandably appreciative. We willl absolutely stay here again. "

"This motel was a total surprise! We wanted a cheap motel and knew that we could live with whatever we found. This motel could really improve its business with a bit of remodeling and cleaning of the outside. It looks shabby from the road. However, it was great on the inside. The breakfast area and hallway were very clean. Our room was huge and so clean! The beds were comfortable. The bathroom seemed new, and we lacked for nothing -- an iron, an ironing board, a new toilet, sink, and shower, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. It was all great. Breakfast was fine but could have used more warming. Juice, coffee, and waffles were great. We were pleasantly surprised and would go here any day!! Thanks to all. "
