“When we arrive the hotel, the front desk told us no rooms for us”

“Overall, this was a nice place to stay. My kids really enjoyed the air hockey and retro video games. Another plus is that this inside a resort and minutes from starved rock entrance. There are 3 actual beds and two air mattresses. This worked fine for our family but I’m not sure that is clear on the listing. Main complaint is that the sofa is not comfortable and could use replacing. The host was responsive and made check in easy. I would recommend this place and would stay there again. ”

“We had a great time with our family and got lots of use out of the pool and we also brought our bikes and went to the nearby park. The neighborhood is gorgeous! The only disappointment about our stay was that there was no hot water in the house, so we were unable to bathe us or our children. Not a horrible deal for us for two nights, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. ”

“My kids, grandkids ages 8-17 stayed for 4 days in December. It was nice that the house was decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We visited the Farnsworth House nearby which was really interesting!”

“The host was very helpful and accommodating. They provide more than we expected and have tried to think of everything. There were extra blankets, plates, cups and utensils for children; a pack-n-play. The kitchen was well stocked. The space was well maintained. Finally, the host communicated consistently with us to make sure everything was a promised. I highly recommend this host and property”
