“獨房獨院！屋子房間數多，有家的氛圍，還可以洗衣服等。還有和風味很濃的浴室。屬於高級飯店民宿，飯店人員平時不在現場，需要email或則電話聯絡，但是招待親切。不建議拖大行李前往，因為地點在三年/二年版道中，車子一般無法進入人行道。需要靠旅客自行上坡拖行前往。雖然距離離大馬路不遠，但是對於老人家或不便於行的旅客壓力較大。其他點，這個飯店都是無敵優良！”

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“Beautiful traditional machiya very close to transit and walkable to many places. Laundry on the corner and grocery around the block. The stairs to the second floor were quite steep and the first floor could have used some more furniture, but really no real complaints ”

“It's a nice place to experience the traditional Japanese living house. It's good to have 3 sizable beds for 3 persons. The room is clean and quite spacious. Shopping areas, good restaurants, convenience store and metro station can be found in a few minutes walking distance from the house. ”

“We loved our stay at Gion Ryokan! The staff were so lovely, the bed pads were comfortable, and we enjoyed having access to a full kitchen. The location is amazing- right in the beautiful old district and just down the street from multiple temples and shrines! Short walk to amazing food options too!”

“We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). We've been touring Asia, and this was one of the nicest places we've visited during our travels, especially while travelling with kids. Everything seemed to……

“We loved our stay overall. The place was beautiful and spacious, and the architectural details and lighting were lovely. There was only 1 bed, which was a little disappointing to our adult children. Other places we’ve stayed in Japan have specified if a bedroom had only mats, but this listing indicated beds in all 3 bedrooms. It was still a nice place to stay. I only mention this to suggest that the listing could be more accurate if it was clear that only bedroom 1 has a true bed. ”

“It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome.”

“因為我們抵達時間遠早於check-in時間，本只是想打電話詢問能不能把行李寄放一樓，對方同意但因為這間並沒有櫃檯所以無法幫我們保證行李安全，我們也表示了解，但沒想到抵達時，打掃的小姐跟我們說她剛剛趕緊把房間打掃好了，就讓我們提前check-in了！這裡讓我們不得不佩服日本人的服務精神！地點雖然離電車或巴士一段路程，但周遭風景非常的棒，剛好滿滿的櫻花配上小橋與河水，隨便我們拍好拍滿。透過房間的窗戶也能直接觀賞櫻花！窗戶也設計得很有格調，讓人覺得這就是讓人觀賞窗外風景用的窗戶！另外桌上擺了一本厚厚的多語言介紹書。除了介紹各種京都經典觀光景點的交通方法外，還介紹了房內各種電器使用方法。非常的用心又便利。要說唯一的缺點是沒有電梯，如果攜帶笨重的行李會不太方便，但還好這棟最高也只有3樓。整體來說，非常滿意！空間大、風景美、服務好！”
