"We spent four mid week nights at the garden room.Itwas just what we needed a beautiful quiet spot to rest and enjoy Northumbria .
It may be different when wedding or events are in full swing but I’m sure the staff and location will mean you have a wonderful time."

"What a fantastic little place. Second time we’ve stayed here and hasn’t disappointed on either occasion. The location is ideal just outside Beadnell, with all local amenities within walking distance. Open the doors on a morning to a field full of bright yellow rapeseed with the sun on your face, it really does get you away from it all. Would recommend to anyone looking for a couple of days away."

"Great location to explore Northumberland. The static caravan isn't a lodge and it is starting to show signs of age with parts looking tired and beds uncomfortable. Cold in the winter months but we did go in December. Strong smell of dogs, granted it is a dog friendly accommodation, but not great if you don't have any. Hot tub is alright. Good hot water and shower. Could do with a few cupboards emptying of excess pint glasses so you can put your food and supplies in. "

"After been in several lodges throughout the country we were so lucky to have found Jem lodge. The location is amazing the lodge is immaculate with all the simple extras that elevate it way above others. The hosts were superb so friendly and helpful just can’t say how good it is."

"Room Essentials provided. Lacked bedside shelf or table. Had to stand on stool to open only small window. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc. shower fine. Very clean. Could do with a chair. Fan provided but not used.
Parking behind hotel. Could see car from room.
Breakfast very good. 8.3am last time a bit early for us.
Felt we got good value.
Didn't need to have other meals there or use bar but premises spacious, nice decor, menu looked fine and staff very friendly and helpful."
"Brilliant hotel in beautiful surroundings. The whole area just feels lovely.
Outside you had the maze and mature gardens with lots of areas to sit and relax. It was very peaceful and calm and very pretty.
Inside there were lovely nooks and crannies to sit and chill from the library to an elegant lounge and the bar area. We had a nosy into the gym and pool area although didn't use them and they looked great too.
Our room was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel and eating areas.
Our room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom which was well equipped with fluffy towels and spa body wash and shampoo.
There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the food we had was tasty. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel as we were out and about but it did look lovely.
All the staff were very friendly and cheery and a credit to your hotel.
I would 100% recommend this hotel and we hope to visit again sometime."
"My husband and i stayed 2 nights, the hotel was amazing could not fault it everything was just amazing. Would recommend it very highly a hidden gem.
Staff attentive, food lovely."
"Lovely hotel in a fantastic setting. Room and bathroom a good size. Breakfast had a good choice of food and replenished.
The only fault is that the pool & spa area is not very accessible in that while the lift goes to floor one it is for staff only. It is also poorly signposted, we had to walk around quite a bit to find the changing room which was accessed through the ladies & gents toilets. Robes and slippers would also have been useful.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return ourselves."
