“Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay. Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too. We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look……

“Loved this hotel and its location. Stayed in the garden room which was great with a dog. Right behind the hotel were fields and a river where we enjoyed lovely walks with our dog. The owner, George, and staff were very helpful. We ate in the pub because of the dog which sometimes was noisy but a minor thing overall. Would definitely stay again.
