It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds. 」

The staff did an amazing job at cleaning it and keeping it fresh. the entirety of the gilded iguana staff was kind and helpful. the breakfast was delicious and there was a variety of good eat options. the whole resort was well air conditioned and we never felt hot for a second while in our room. 「This hotel is truly the best of the best! I came with 3 friends and we stayed in a Vista Double Suite with 2 king beds. The hotel staff were an absolute dream. By the end of our trip they felt like family. Every time we sat down fresh glasses of ice water were brought to us. They were so attentive to all of our needs. Concierge booked all of our excursions and helped when we needed to change things around. They all got billed through the hotel which made things much easier. The hotel also...

Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! 」
