“Luxury at first glance but filthy up close This rental was extremely deceiving. The property looks upscale & expensive in photos but the focus seems to be on aesthetics rather than cleanliness, maintenance or functionality. By the end of our stay we genuinely couldn’t wait to leave. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The bathtub had water sitting in the jets with black material floating in it & did not appear properly sanitized. The bathroom garbage smelled like an ashtray & had ashes in it.……

“It was a real treat to stay here. The bathroom for our suite was beautifully appointed. It felt very luxurious to use! Our suite was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was top notch. The entire experience was lovely. We would return.”

“My husband and I stayed at the Fairmount B&B for 1 night in Srptember and had a lovely stay. The owners were friendly, breakfast was home cooked and we shared a table with 4 other guests and had a great time chatting to one another over our breakfast. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.”

“This is an awesome bed and breakfast. Very beautiful location with an amazing view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, very clean nicely decorated charming rooms. Alaine and Denise were friendly welcoming hosts who were very informative. We had a lovely healthy breakfast and Alaine even played the fiddle! We highly recommend this b&b.”

“I was warmly welcomed by the host and cute little fur baby Zoe, and made to immediately feel at home in her home. She offered me tea or water as soon as I arrived and made sure I knew to help myself to the water in the fridge. It’s an older home that has been loving maintained. The location is lovely, she really is right by the sea, plus there is a nice little patio to enjoy. She very graciously allowed me access to her laundry, which was so much appreciated. The bed was brand new and……

“Pleasant place, however it’s quite isolated. Have to drive a fair distance to find restaurants. No restaurant on premises, but they do serve a nice breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a pretty good stay.”
