"I only gave a 4 star because they removed the restaurant due to having new ownership, the valet prices went up and we don’t get housekeeping. We have to get our towels and supplies every morning, this isn’t a bad review we love coming here but I couldn’t give it a 5 star due to all the new changes. We will be coming back next year I would recommend it still but just look into it first before booking. "

"Our room had a decent ocean view even though the property is not right on the beach. The kitchen is nice and pretty well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and basic cooking utensils. Be careful in the parking garage though. They told us all about weekly rates and paying in the app, but did not mention that even though level 3 looks a lot like level 2, there are subtle little signs in level 3 spaces that say you're gonna get towed."

Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort

"Second time staying here and loved it. This is def our go to spot to stay while in Fort Lauderdale. The pool deck is great with plenty of lounge chairs and a great view of the beach. Hot tub was also very nice with a lot of room. There’s always something to complain about but the things I’ll mention are minor and didn’t affect the stay at all. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and the bathroom is nice, but I’ll never understand why a lot of hotel bathrooms do not have exhaust fans. After showering, had to wait for the mirror to clear up unless we wiped it down which wasn’t an issue but why no exhaust fan??? Only other thing that is irritating is the $25 a night parking fee. We take day trips and need a rental otherwise we would use public trans. Last thing is the outdoor bar. Nice atmosphere but three shots of Jameson with a tip was over $50. We always bring our own but wanted something quick without going back up to the room. Great bang for your buck otherwise and will be staying again."

"Hotel was ok for a weekend stay. On site parking prices are ridiculously expensive valet was 57$ a day and self parking was 52$ a day and then on check out day if you get your car after 1pm you get charged another 20$."

"The hotel has a great location along the river walkway and offers a variety of food and beverage options. You will feel safe on the property. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Because the facility is older, I am sure the housekeeping staff has a more difficult time trying to have it look as shiny and polished as a newer property, especially the bathroom floor tiles."
