「The picture on Expedia wasn’t what we saw. We stayed in a room with a queen bed and bathroom. The place itself was very unique and in an out of the way area. We were the only ones who stayed who were traveling through. The other guests were guys who worked in the area. We thought for what we paid, it was ok. No TV in room, but there was a Keurig for our morning coffee. Great views to look at.」

「This was a one night stop as we traveled west from the UP to Duluth and we wished we could have stayed here longer. This is a fantastic property. The best hotel breakfast we had all week, and a pool that was actually warm and a hot tub that functioned as it is supposed to. It doesn't sound like a high bar to meet, but so many other properties fail to maintain the amenities to a high standard. The room had 2 entry points: 1 from the exterior and 1 that opens up to the pool area. Spacious...

「We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.」
