Worth It

Our group was down for a school competition. This location was idea for the combo of proximity of our competition, and amenities of the house and neighborhood. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed much of what was offered. We did not have time to do massages or mini golf at the club house but they were available which was a huge plus. Would highly recommend this location and would stay here again and again!

Amazing time in this home

We had an amazing time in this home! Everything was clean and comfortable. The communication with the host was excellent. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation rental to stay in! It was SUPER close to the Disney parks and located next to a tons of grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc! We were even there during Hurricane Helene and had no issues with the property or resort!

Great home in a convenient location

Beautiful home in gated community 20 minutes from most Disney parks.Home was fully equipped - even had some coffee and tea for us. The game room was cool. The stroller was definitely appreciated! I had a few questions and the host was extremely responsive. We were so busy, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the community amenities but they looked beautiful. The private pool was great after long, hot days at the parks.Price was excellent for the size and location of the property. Strongly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

Really nice house, the 6th bedroom could have done with a ceiling fan (but thankfully we found a box fan in the garage), and given the size of the house it needs more seating in the living area. Otherwise the location is fantastic and the house had everything we could possibly need. Pool area was lovely and we appreciated that the resort had playgrounds for the kids.

Loved This House!

We have stayed in Emerald Island several times and this was the cleanest house we have stayed in. It is very close to Disney World, shops and restaurants. We like the 24 hour monitored gates with security guards. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and well supplied. The pool area had a nice view of a pond and was peaceful for our morning coffee. The owner is very quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely home.

The property was well presented and cleaned. As a family of 11 there was plenty of space and equipment. It is in a very convenient location for Disney World parks with close access to a range of fast food restaurants and supermarkets. The WIFI was a problem at first until a fuse was replaced but then worked fine.

Easy access to amenities and local attractions. Very quiet neighbourhood and well maintained. Home is a little tired but meet our needs and is certainly at the right price point. Extra cost for pool usage/heating and use of BBQ was a bit of a sticker shocker but seems to be the norm for vacation rentals in Fl.

Great location

This home was well maintained and stocked for our stay. We spent the majority of our days at the Disney parks. They were just a short drive away. It was great to come back to the home and relax on the patio while the kids swam in the pool. We had no issues during our stay. There was grocery stores and dinner options very close by. The size of the home was perfect and we did not feel crowded. Would definitely consider staying again in the future. The clubhouse was also a nice added benefit. There is free mini golf, playground, pool and tiki bar.

Overall nice neighborhood and very spacious home that definitely met our needs. The pool was super nice to take a dip in after a long day in the hot sun. Furnishings are a bit dated. We only had six in our party and had 3 additional bedrooms not in use. If there would have been 12 there would not have been enough seating. I would recommend adding bar height stools.

While the location was great and pool ver nice and warm, this house really needs a thorough deep clean and major upkeep. Tiles were very dirty and bedding and mattress’ were very old and worn. New towels are a must, and there were very few in the house. Overall, I would not return to this property in the future.

Great location for Disney!

Overall, this property was a great location for going to the Disney parks and was convenient to shopping, groceries, other activities, etc. The property was the perfect size (6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, all on one level) for our family of 9. It was a great property at a great price. There is always room for improvement, in my opinion, and with that I will say our biggest complaint was that some of the beds were pretty hard. In addition, we encountered some rude staff members in the Clubhouse when checking in/trying to play mini-golf, but the Clubhouse staff certainly shouldn't be considered a reflection on the property itself. If the mattresses were updated, would certainly consider staying in this property again!

Super clean and well equipped Villa

Check in at the gate was simple and fast and we were given our access passes for the rest of the stay. The villa was spotless and had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen to prepare and serve meals. The pool was great and the whole party spent hours in it. A huge number of towels provided for both in the villa and pool towels which we could take to the water parks. Washing machine meant we could wash almost all the clothes before travelling home to save a massive wash on our return. The only thing we thought it could do with is an airer to dry clothes that cannot be tumble dried. We found a solution though and hung clothes on hangers on the back of the garage door. It’s so warm in there they dried in no time! If we come back to Florida with a large group again we will certainly try and book it again.

Pleasantly Surprised!

The pictures do not do this house justice. It is beautiful. Very spacious!! We had 9 people and it was perfect. 2 Masters with comfortable king beds (and I am picky about mattresses. They were firm and supportive yet comfortable) are on one side of the main living space and the remaining 4 bedrooms are on the other side. This worked perfect for my family! The kitchen had most everything we needed. We did get heat for the pool and after it warmed up (a day or 2) it was heavenly and the kids loved it! The pool area is very private. The game room was a bit too hot for us to use (it was unseasonably warm for April) but we did use it for a little bit. Linens were soft and of good quality. There were plenty of soft white bath towels and lots of pool towels. The drive to the disney parks was easy - about 15 minutes depending on what park. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property!

Pros & Cons

The villa is great & was as described. It's very well equipped with plenty of towels etc & ample space for large families. The pool is great & was used daily due to the unusually extreme temperatures experienced during our stay in May 25.However a couple of negative points: My wife wanted a last swim on our last day but was met by the pool guy who had let himself in prior to our check out time & was told it was UNSAFE to use. He needed to add chemicals to the water & this would take 1 hours to take effect. I tried to establish how long the pool had been UNSAFE but due to language differences I could not get an answer! The villa folder states that the pool is professionally cleaned weekly, we stayed for 11 nights & only saw him on the last day!I also paid an extra 60 for a BBQ which required cleaning before I could use it. It was also left with an empty gas bottle which was replaced following a call to the management company. It was left at the front door & had to be fitted by ourselves. It felt like we were inconveniencing the management company in requiring a replacement the same afternoon as making the call.Overall an enjoyable holiday in a nice villa / location.
