Great place to stay close to Disney but WIFI is unusable

This townhouse was a great place for my family. Plenty of space, great location not far from Disney, SeaWorld and Universal, with great community amenities in addition to the fabulous plunge pool right out our back door. The WiFi is horrible, so plan on using phone data and hotspots to do anything involving the internet. We were fine as we spent most of out time at theme parks or in the plunge pool, but be aware that this is not a place where the WiFi is useable. All in all, we had a comfortable and amazing stay close to Disney, but far enough away for a little peace and quiet.

Great stay

The location is very convenient and the pools and slides were lots of fun for the kids. The kitchen could use some dish clothes and a few more dishes, such as a pizza pan, pizza cutter, bigger pans, but we cooked all of our meals there which may not happen for other guests. Overall, great place to stay.

The amenities that were not available cable, wifi. Even after talking with the management company nothing worked the whole weekend. The ice maker clogged. Ice spilling out of the freezer. The garbage disposal did not work so the sink clogged the food that sitting at the bottom.

Great for the whole family

Traveled with my husband, our two kids and my brother/sister in law with their two kids. Perfect amount of bedrooms, bathrooms, and hangout space. The kids loved the pool/Waterpark area, very convient to entertain everyone.

Great location and kind attention

The home is very well located in Kissimmee. Everything is great except for two inconveniences we had with the shower glassdoor and the cleanliness of the pool, but they were well handled by the Vacasa team. Some of the living room furniture was old but it is not an inconvenience for using them. Notwithstanding I would stay with my family again in this home.

Perfect for families

Beautiful home with plenty of space! Nicely decorated. I loved the plunge pool! So great for laying out. Close to theme parks. I have stayed in Storey Lake before but I liked this property better because the backyard faces the pond. Will definitely return.

Refrigerator was broken, did not cool, all of our perishables groceries were lost, customer servi...

Total number of bedrooms and layout were good, AC worked well. Couch was wired, has pet covers to hide shredded leather peeling away.

Not Just Me

The house was easy to find. We were to receive an E-pass before arriving to help entering and exiting the premises. I was told to check my spasm and delete files. But no notification was sent. I requested to resend but never received it. We requested an iron. We were told that it was there to.check in the downstairs bedroom. I sent a picture showing g the iron’s absence. The TV in the living room worked sporadically. The WiFi kept going in and out. The bed covers in the first floor bedroom smelled musty. All guests replied their dissatisfaction. The water pressure in the bathroom hallway on the send floor was low. We expected better!

TLC Needed!

This house has great space and a good layout. The Hideaway club that you get access to is great! But the house itself really needs some work done. The upstairs carpet is very dirty and should probably be replaced. The downstairs couch is falling apart and needs to be replaced. The pool was green when we first arrived. They put some chemicals in it and fixed it by the end of our stay but we never got to use it. Half of the light switches are broken and the walls are pretty beat up. The mattresses are all pretty uncomfortable. This could be a really good property with some much needed TLC.

Very dirty run down

Where to start … roaches, holes in the walls very very dirty carpets don’t take your shoes off you will stick to the floor, fridge wouldn’t stay closed had to put a chair up to to keep our food cold, bar stool missing screws 2 ppl fell out of them so we didn’t use them at all, old white leather couch all peeling covered with a stained teal sheet tied up in the sides don’t try to sit close to the sides it’s hard wood under that sheet hurt so bad, had to keep the stopper in the garbage disposal the smell was so bad, remotes we falling apart had to hold them together to use them or they were in 3 pieces one was all chewed up, toilet paper holder came off the wall, my husband had to fix the front door knob it was about to fall off at least he had his tools in the car, only 2 bath towels per room, hot water only lasted for one shower and no pressure at all. Oh and don’t come out at dark the roaches with greet you! The highchair they offer still had old food on it, my closet had gum stuck on the pole, had to restart the router 3 times to get WiFi to work correctly! DoNOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! our friends had a place 8 doors down was beautiful clean will use her host from now on and hers was cheaper also!!

Dirty but adequate w a few bright spots

This house needs a good deep clean and some serious maintenance ( extremely dull knives and no sharpening tool) lights out in the stove hood, filthy grill making it unusable, smudged walls, dirty outlets, dusty grime coat on hvac register - just ick!!’ - it’s been spot cleaned so it is adequate but the kitchen didn’t have any linens just paper towels and the dish drain pads were filthy. Good working kitchen but not supplied adequately for garbage required to be put out daily nor enough dishwasher pods for how often 5 people cooked and ate. Comfy mattresses, great resort pool area w outdoor activities.

Terrible experience from start to finish

Storey Lake Gem - Storey Lake We had several issues with our rental. I reached out multiple times, sent pictures, and tried to communicate with your reps. The unit was extremely dirty and generally unkept. There was black mold on the air vents, AC filter was beyond filthy, the furniture was falling to pieces as we tried to sit down, the TV/Internet did not work, and the refrigerator would not keep anything cold as it could not maintain temperature. I asked if we could simply be moved to a different property because of the substandard conditions of our rental and was told no. This could have potentially solved all of our problems. The "solution" I was given was that housekeeping could be sent the next day to refresh. We all know that a refresh clean would not remediate the mold, badly stained carpets, internet issues, and certainly not the dying refrigerator. With just a few short days for a very much needed vacation with my family I honestly didn't feel it was my job to inspect, report, and deal with the many problems that were left for me to handle. Like the majority of your clients, I simply wanted a clean, safe, and comfortable place for my family and I to try to enjoy valuable time together. Again, I requested to be moved. No harm, no foul. But that simple solution was rejected by your rep. And instead, probably by design, I was left to use the little time I had on vacation trying to call, email, send pictures, make more phone calls in search of getting what I paid for versus the scrapes of what you had left at the change of your busy summer season. I was never even offered compensation for having to try and manage your issues! To say I am unhappy with your company would be an understatement. I was a returning guest but after this last experience I cannot say I will use your services again. Now that my vacation has ended and my family and I are back to the usual stresses of life, I would like to know how to plan to try and make this right.

Wedding of the Century

This townhouse was exactly as it appeared on the listing. Just beautiful! My husband and I shared it with my brother and sister in law. We were in Orlando for our son's wedding. It was perfect in terms of location, size, amenities and comfort. I would highly recommend this Vacasa home for your get away!

Great property, but needs to be maintained properly.

We had a great stay at this rental and specifically picked a property on Storey Lake as we have stayed here before (4 years ago). This house was lovely and is a great size, but it definitely needs small maintenance and a good deep clean to bring it back to a standard that matches the price being charged. For instance, rear guttering needs cleaning out, bar stools need properly screwing to the bases, floor indent la need fixing, etc.

Family Vacation

The house was exactly as it appears online and clean! The only problem we had at the house was that the icemaker did not work the entire week. We contacted management several times and they did not come out to address the issue. We were told when we left that they are aware and it will be fixed for the next renters!. We were not compensated for the inconvenience. Besides the fact we left our car key on the front entrance table and was charged a fee to have it returned.. They main issue we had was at the resort pool. We were all looking forward to the lazy river and pool. There was not enough tubes for the lazy river and people were taking them to the main pool to float. There were a lot of unruly kids being disrespectful and purposely jumping and running in the pool area and pushing and shoving by the slide . There are signs posted all over about the rules at the pool but no one obeyed them and NO ONE came out to enforce it. We we told everything is at your own risk. No manager to control the area. Thank goodness we had a pool at our townhouse. Overall it could have been a better experience but Storey needs to do something about the pool area.

Perfect home for our stay

We stayed here for 5 days and absolutely loved everything about our stay. It was close to shopping, grocery stores, Starbucks and everything Disney. The house was cute and clean. The amenities were amazing. Highly recommend staying here.
