Christmas holiday Stay

The house was very nice. Somethings that the owners should consider. Changing the carpet because it had a smell throughout the whole house, or they could clean it more often. We had our children on this christmas holiday vacation and they didn't have any toy for the pool so that the kids can play with. Overall the house is nice just need a little love and care add to it.

Excellent and accommodating host

We have used VRBO for years and never had a problem; however this vacation to Orlando we had booked a home in June of 2021 and the day before our trip in March of 2022 they cancelled us the day before our arrival, we booked another house, they cancelled, and then we booked this house!! The host was so accommodating and understanding and made check in a breeze. He was so understanding of our situation and helped us to be able to check in the same day. The home was perfect for our group of 21. It was close to everything we need/wanted. The champions gate clubhouse and pool were awesome as well. Everything about this house and the host were perfect.

Questionable

Check in was super easy, getting into the gate is a whole other story. You had to get a QR code that didn't work. So you spent forever trying to make it work, people come up and try to see if theirs will work. It was a bit ridiculous. The house looked ok upon first inspection. However, one of the shower doors was not attached properly and was very wobbly so we couldn't use it. The game room was less than desired or advertised. The hot tub NEVER got hot! Tried for 2days, even asked the propery manager how to heat it and nothing worked. Washer and dishwasher take 3 hours to use so just be prepared. There was a hurricane approaching within a day of our arrival which obviously no one can control. They sent people to the house without calling or emailing to bring in all the patio furniture which would have seriously limited the space the 14 of us had. Again I get that, what I don't get is the no heads up. When they showed up they tried to just push past us and come in. I'm sorry but we are in an unfamiliar place and we didn't know anything about people coming and no introduction was made. They just started walking in, that's a huge no for me. We also had to leave early and I've been waiting 2 weeks for a refund. I emailed 5 days ago and was told they would look into the refund and get back to me. I have yet to hear from them.

Questionable

Our group was 13(5 kids range from 4-11). Initially we were impressed with the area. We had early flights and then Orlando traffic. So we were all ready to get out of the van and shower. After the hour and a half drive from the airport we could Not get into the gate to our home. I was Never given a gate code or instructions on how to get a gate code. After calling the 800 number the agent was Not to helpful telling me that the resort should have sent me those instructions. I told the agent that in my welcome email there should have been some reference that I need to Stop at the guard desk to get a QR code for the gate. Day 2 we experienced roaches in the home. We did not report them due to us enjoying our vacation. We just bought some bug spray. The home itself was just as the pictures displayed it except lots of stains on furniture. Furniture needs cleaning. Going to the resort Waterpark we were stopped at the desk. We were Not aware that a wristband was needed and we were required to show our parking pass to receive a wristband. We did put away the glass plates and cups due to small children. We had more than enough rooms. The stay was Not a disaster just a few hiccups. Would we stay again? Not sure.

Game room didn't work

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paid an arm and leg to stay here because of the advertised game room..when we got there nothing in the game room worked, everything was damaged. The hot tub didn't work either..we got the place specifically for a child's birthday and it was pretty much ruined...

Great and bad at the same time

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place has all the right things and comforts, yet simple tasks are overlooked. We had this place for three days and the pool was an insightly toxic green and we were not able to enjoy for our stay. There were other little things that we felt could've been attended to proir to our arrival, but we made the best of it. We booked the place because we had two small children and wanted them to enjoy the private pool, but that didn't happen.
