WONDERFUL HOME CLOSE TO EVEYTHING! WE ARE A FAMILY OF 5 VERY SPACIOUS DEFINATLY BEATS SQUEEZING EVERYONE IN A HOTEL ROOM.WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

JUNE 26 TO JULY 4th 2015

Great vacation home. Close to stores, highway & kids loved the pool. Used the cooler when we went to the water park. Had all I needed in the kitchen. Washer and dryer was excellent and convenient. Will recommend. Hope to come back.

Great place, 15 min's away from the major resorts

Great place in a great area, plenty of room for our family of 5, more than clean enough, all appliances worked, enough pots, pans and silverware to cook our meals. We did have one issue with the AC and unfortunately we had to relocate to a different house half way through our stay, however the management company was very helpful in making this happen for us. Would defiantly stay there again, as long as the AC is fixed :)

Compass Bay Rental

The property was GREAT...very clean, quiet and family friendly. If we could change one thing, it would be the mattresses. It was as if you were sleeping on box springs and out backs hurt each morning when we woke up. It would be nice to have working TV's and Wifi's as wekk. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Need new mattresses

Great location, quiet community. The place was clean and looked pretty new. We stayed for 4 night with a family of 5. Nice to have the convenience of staying in a condo instead of a hotel. It was much more cost efficient. The only downside were the beds....they definitely need an upgrade. They were like sleeping on cardboard. If the mattresses get replaced I would give it 5 stars!

Functional but a bit frumpy

First the positive, this is a spacious, functional space. All the appliances and air conditioning are in good working order. The town home is generally clean, other than the carpet which really needs a good cleaning. The furnishings from the beds, to the chairs and couch to the linens and towels are generally dingy and uncomfortable. There is a pool available, but that is it for amenities .

Poor

We were given the wrong address to start with. Mac insisted the house number was correct. We had to locate the villa by trial and error - stopping at each villa looking for a lock-box! 6 days into our holiday, the air conditioning stopped working. Mac tried to charhe us for the callout, to which we refused to pay. He advised it was all fixed. The next day the air conditioning still was not working. Again he sent somebody out, they said it was fine, so then he sent the AC Company. Mac tried to blame us saying we had placed the AC into a 2 stage furnace. The AC probably was not working correctly to start with and he though we would be an easy target for the repair. On the 3rd day, the temperature in the villa was 90 degrees and despite advising Mac that my son was asthmatic, he did nothing to help. He insisted that we pay for a new compressor. We had to move out of the villa. If I had left my kids in a car where the temperature was 90 degrees, I would no doubt be arrested. There are no fire extinguishers in the villa. The door which leads out to the garden and lake has no safety alarm making this villa unsuitable for families with young children.

Apartment. setting and comforts

Lovely apartment and well laid out. Great setting with the pond in the back. Plenty of space and bedrooms, bathrooms are clean. Laundry and towel supplies are a plus. Kitchen is spacious and appliances, pots, pans and cutlery are first class. Only three small complaints prevented me from posting a perfect five: There were two leaking toilet cisterns that run constantly (What a waste of water) and the lounge chairs are old and soiled; lastly, the carpet on the stairs is in need of a good shampooing.

Nice place with horrible beds

This was a great unit in a great location, convenient to the conference that we were attending. The three bedroom unit was great - everyone had their own room and we had a nice kitchen and family room. However, the beds were the worst that I have ever seen. They were firm at least but had no padding at all. It was like sleeping (or trying to sleep - I didn't sleep well) on a box springs. We tried various tricks, such as putting the comforters under us, pillows, etc... but that still kind of ruined the experience for us.
