“Such an amazing experience to stay at this B&B, the owner was so helpful and nice to gave our detail guide to parking garage, recommended a wonderful Michelin restaurant for dinner, and of course the breakfast was far better than expected, there were so many food choices. ”

“The room was big enough for two people and they gave us two single beds as requested. the location of the hotel couldn't have been more convenient and the breakfast was real nice and they had quite a lot of choices. One thing that I like the most was the staffs, a women there helped us with everything we needed to travel around and extended the room one more night for us. The down sides were the communication within the staffs I guess as the young lady said if we wanted to extend one more night,……

“Help from Andrea with nearby parking and transport with luggage to/from Ortigia was excellent. Also breakfast staff member was super helpful. The property itself is tired and in need of upgrades. There is a totally inadequate space for breakfast seating, with no dedicated tables or chairs and no easy access back into reception area if guests are seated at basic outdoor sofas. ”

“It's a beautiful hotel indeed, with a lot to offer: a historical embience, elegant decor, spacious rooms, convenient location (both Duomo & Fontana di Diana are within a 10-min walk), simple yet adequate breakfast.... But all these good qualities are offset by a lack of maintenance of its facilities (shower head that seems like breaking down and keeps leaking water from its handle, air conditioner that shuts itself down within 30 mins of operation...) . Service-wise the front desk is only……

“Lovely apartment with full kitchen and comfortable beds and sofa. Central location is great. Be aware there is no elevator in our building, and need to walk into small street with luggage. We were surprised to find that you had to walk through one bedroom to get to the second (with bath between), but it worked out fine. Quick responses to fix broken faucet. We extended twice! Very walkable and close to food and bus stop.”

“Best view in town - right on the water. We stayed in the Alfeo apartment with our 2 kids and we loved it. Large apartment and the view was magical. At night you can hear the party boats and some voices from below but they eventually move on - not a big deal. A true gem!”

“A clean, very well equipped apartment on a lovely quiet little street. Looks like a very recent renovation of an historic building. We had a bit of a problem getting in as the instructions were sent very late, and it’s totally automated. However, after that, communication was very good. The electric stopped working and a staff person was there to help within minutes. I would just advise that hotidays send instructions to Expedia at least 24 hrs ahead as not everyone has international calling or……
