“I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. It is just a short stroll to the must-see landmarks such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Fountain, and the renowned Cathedral of Syracuse. it was built in 1890 and was completely renovated while preserving its classic old-world charm with marble floors, Corinthian columns, and beautiful art-filled common areas. They have an……

“Very friendly and helpful receptions. The location is very convenient. We had an issue with the aircon late at night. I was told the next day that the aircon was fine that is was in sleep mode. As we stayed 1 night it didnt matter but definitely its not easy to use if thats the case. The bed light on/off is tricky but the hotel does explain to you during checkin. It was a nice laugh with the family trying to figure it out!!! ”

“The room was big enough for two people and they gave us two single beds as requested. the location of the hotel couldn't have been more convenient and the breakfast was real nice and they had quite a lot of choices. One thing that I like the most was the staffs, a women there helped us with everything we needed to travel around and extended the room one more night for us. The down sides were the communication within the staffs I guess as the young lady said if we wanted to extend one more night,……

The only thing to know is that the parking is a few streets away and that they bring you to the appartment by car before going to Park your car. It was easy enough though :) overall great stay! I would recommend.”

“The property was as pictured. On a great location as a solo traveler I appreciated it being in a well lit area. Walking distance from the coast line and with some nice conveniences close by. Example a small grocer. And a laundromat. There was a minor problem but this was handled I recommend messaging in Italian with the help of a translation app if you don’t get a response quickly. It did the trick for me. But my contact did communicate in English. I didn’t use the kitchen amenities too much but……
