The living presence of family stories preserved through the beauty of the furniture and the predominance of authentic decorative objects transports us back in time. All of this is surrounded by a garden of intense green, colorful and scented with different types of flowers in a serene landscape atmosphere. Top Ovar Hotel Reviews

Eurostars Aliados

8/10 Good

"This is a 4 star hotel. Claims to be a 5 starts, but it has no swimming pool (has a jacuzzi a non working sauna and overheated steam room), there is no food past midnight! (they recommend you go to Macdonals down the road) toilets have slight swage smell and the sink has hot water only in the morning, shower is good tho... no direct line to reception and you can hear noise from the rooms next door. Gym has no windows, Breakfast is decent (except Sundays where they stock a lot less, for some reason) Overall, it is 4 stars. Good AC in the room, bed is confortable and good location."

Timbre Heroismo

10/10 Excellent

"Room was spotless. Staff were very accommodating. Held our luggage when we arrived very early. Delivered a fruit plate and some port on our 2nd day. Very close to Metro and buses. Walked to many places. Staff offered to book taxis for us. Restaurants nearby were very good. Hotel restaurant was excellent for supper and breakfast. A shout out to Raquel’s for great service. Would stay again."

Hotel Carris Porto Ribeira

10/10 Excellent

"I had a beautiful room with a balcony and view if the city and peek a boo view of the river. I found the room to be comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning was delightful, especially after a long day of sightseeing. The location of this hotel is a bonus, a quick walk to the river (1 block) and centrally located."
