“As a beach resort, I expect the hotel to properly handle things like red tide (dead algae) and bugs. The first night, we enjoyed dinner at the outside restaurant (sat on the patio for just over an hour). The next day I woke up to over 100 bug bites on my toes, ankles and legs (up to the knee). This essentially ruined the week-long trip as heat exacerbated the itch and size of the bug bites (I normally do not react to bug bites, but that was not the case here). “While the hotel's public amenities were fantastic, our actual room fell incredibly short, and management's hands-off policy left us completely stranded. We booked a room for five people but were only given three chairs, and the room's dishwasher was completely broken for our entire stay. Although the staff acknowledged the issue and even issued a case number, they flat-out refused to fix the appliance, claiming that maintenance is entirely up to the individual room owner. It is a total gamble……

“It’s a very old hotel, there were no blankets available, TV had very few channels, the volume didn’t work and the outlet behind the TV looked unsafe and could start a fire! The carpet had a tear in it, the lock on the glass door was loose and it also had a bar to secure the door. Parking was very limited and tight. Would not recommend staying there and we won’t be back!”

“I wanted to be close to snorkeling at Phil Foster Park. The room was clean, the property not so picked up. But it served my purpose. Walking distance to dive and snorkeling area.. didn't use the kitchen but looked like it had all you needed to have a decent cook off. We only use this location for ending the day... Clean up and rest. Also I could hear the next apartment talking, but Turn the TV on and problem solved.. Did not like that there was an extra $100 charge for lot or something like……
