“My wife and I had a great stay at Star View Cabin – Riverfront. It was just what we were looking for. The cabin had awesome views of the mountains and the Shenandoah River. We enjoyed watching sunsets and viewing the bright stars from the night sky from the hot tub. We enjoyed walking down to the river each day and we saw many animals, deer, eagles, rabbits. One night we had three deer within 20 yards of us in the back yard and we watched them from the spacious windows and sliding glass door……

“The property is great. The listing should advise that 4WD or AWD vehicles are highly advisable in inclement weather. Recommend owners stock the property with consumables such as paper towels, trash bags, dish washer pellets, laundry detergent and at least 2-ply toilet paper. These inexpensive basics would go a long way to making guests feel a lot more welcome, especially at this price level. The heat turned off our last night there. Since we were leaving that morning it wasn’t a terrible……
