That said, there were two issues: 1) The property has no central heating and the space heaters are not able to keep up with the cold weather (probably would be fine if it were 60 degrees outside), 2) more importantly, there was enough hot water for 1 person to take a 5 minute shower (and no heater in the bathroom). “Expedia was fine. But this property was very fair. It was managed by Capital Hotel. A VRBO.
I tried to call Capital Hotel before check in .. no call back. I did receive a check in text on a chat line that was monitored. Requested a later check out. None granted.
The check in directions required that we read them 4-5 times to put all the pieces together. Also the place was advertised as a 2BR. When the check in info came in, it was noted as a one bedroom. So I got nervous. Turned out to be a……

“The place felt pretty run down and could really use some updates. The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness the room and some common areas didn’t feel as clean as they should have been.
The staff were nice and did their best, which I appreciated, but the condition of the hotel made the stay less comfortable overall. With better upkeep and more attention to cleaning, this place could be a lot better.”
