“Staff very welcoming and professional. Room lovely, bed comfy but think they should have one firm pillow and one soft pillow on bed. 1st morning breakfast - cereal and yoghurts variety and toaster available for use but 2nd morning nothing laid out no cereal and yoghurt or toast so was limited. Iron ironing board and hairdryer a bonus. The layout of the restaurant and decor had a relaxing cost ambience. Over all happy to go back and have recommended to to family who have already booked in. ”

“Spent two nights last weekend. Enjoyed our visit. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The whole place was really clean and we could not fault our room. Comfy beds with lovely white crisp bedding. Very warm and cosy. We had continental breakfast and ate our evening meal in the hotel on Sunday. Food was excellent. Well done and thanks to all at the Kings Head. ”

“Room was clean, bed comfortable, duvet a little thin. Water jets in bath needed a really good scrub…put me off taking a bath. Particular staff member in restaurant rather brusk. Walking away while we were still giving order….not exactly welcoming or skilled at dealing with guests. Breakfast quality and choice excellent. All other staff excellent. 3 stars to reflect comments above and price point. ”
