「Room and amenities good. Loved the rooftop patio. Staff friendly. Wish it had been just a little closer to downtown, but on the bus line, so all worked out ok. 」

「This was our first time at the Ryder hotel. It was located very conveniently in downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly however, when we were by the pool, the service there was somewhat spotty. Often times staff would just ignore anyone who was sitting at a table and not offer them a drink. The pool was nice to have on a hot day however, it was very murky and cloudy looking. Not sure how often they check for chemical balance. Both my husband and I felt very itchy after being in the pool...

I would recommend avoiding this floor if you wish for a quiet stay. We can clearly hear people speaking on the patio area just steps from our poolside door. 「The Pinckney is a small hotel but it is conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants also in walking distance to plenty of landmarks. The staff is willing to help in any way possible the complimentary breakfast is good. Our room was clean and cool and looked to be new renovated. 」
