“Stayed in April 2026 with 2 girlfriends and absolutely loved the hotel and the location. The hotel was spotless and our room with 2 queens was plenty big for the 3 of us. Having coffee in the hallway on each floor was a nice touch. We spent many hours relaxing in and around the pool. Our only complaint, if anything, is that the beds and pillows were really firm. Would highly recommend Ximena and would definitely return!”

“Beautiful place right in the beach, staff was very friendly! Restaurant and bar is quite a bit more money than any of the other places in town, and gold carts to rent are fairly expensive, but other than that it was a beautiful place to stay.”

“The internet is bad; it only works in the pool area. Breakfast is good but has limited options. The hotel's location is poor because the streets are terribly dirty, though it is close to the restaurant area. The room is great, with good air conditioning. The TV is very poor because it relies on the internet. The system for getting beach towels is complicated; losing one is a major issue. My grandson broke the room key card, and my daughter had to pay 400 pesos—I thought that was outrageous.”

“The atmosphere was amazing. Being close enough to nature in a quiet and cozy area. The breakfast was fantastic with a good amount of options and the pool was perfect. Highly recommend this for a calm stay after being in downtown Sayulita. Close to the beach and still close enough to restaurants. 10/10.”

“This was a fantastic place to stay. Matty, the face of the hotel, went BEYOND for us in making sure our stay was wonderful. She was so friendly and professional and let us know things around Sayulita. The stay itself was really great! Free daily breakfast, yoga, and just a short 10-15 min walk to downtown and the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and Don Bonito is the place to be when staying in this great town. Thank you all so much!”
