“What a little gem! Didn't wanna leave this review because I'm selfish and don't want everyone to know about this lil secret, but the staff deserve just as much recognition as the Chateau. I was working in Salinas for the week but only booked one night because I was apprehensive, but immediately upon entering, Sweetie (staff member) made me feel at home, as if we've known each other forever. So I asked her to book the remainder the week and it has been the most quiet and secure place I've stayed……

“Bed was comfort!ble. It was a little hard to find but once we did everyt&ing was smooth sailing. Bringing our wash cloths and hand towels was good.”

“The property was very clean, nicely decorated and an incredible view. The owners Susan and Callie were very conscientious and responsive to our needs. There are 22 steps down to the property from the street which we did not realize which made carrying luggage a little difficult, especially in the pouring rain. I recommend this property.”

“We stay at this guest house at least yearly and it never disappoints. The host is very thoughtful and has made sure everything is available for your stay. The Keurig coffee machine even has a “shot” size that is perfect for a packet of instant oatmeal. The location is quiet with great onsite parking and is centrally located so it’s easy to get to any of the Monterey Bay area attractions. Seaside has grown and there are excellent restaurants and brewery in town.”

“My wife and I have been visiting Monterey for years and love the cool weather and peaceful vibe of the area. First, the accommodations were excellent. The unit itself is very new. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and nestled in the Skyline Forest area of Monterey. The roads and driveways can be steep, but the views are amazing. Here is some notes and clarifications about the ADU: - The EV charging is a 125/250v 50a outlet and you will need to bring your own EV cable. - There is a private……

“We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.”

“Our experience at this hotel was terrible. It was impossible to contact them before arriving. When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room. The bed was so uncomfortable and it leaned so far to the right that my……

“Pebble Beach is one of our favorite spots, so as my husband and I were both celebrating big birthdays, this is where we wanted to bring our family. I'm so glad I picked this property! All 7 of us fit very comfortably in the house. It's a gorgeous location! The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It exceeded my expectations and made our stay in Pebble Beach so enjoyable. Would definitely book again!”
