Penebel Penatahan Hot Spring Hotels

"Friendly staff, very quiet, good for a 3 night stay."

"A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at...

"We booked the biggest room and the surface is not near the advertize one. They tell you the room is for 4 people but its clearly for 2. Impossible to sleep at 4 even with young kids. They sell you a king size bed which is a simple double bed. And then they tell you: price is 72 USD with a 50% off promo so now it's 36 USD. But when you see the regular prices on display, you see the regular price is like $12. We tried to settle calmy but they told us they would not do anything. Plus the...

"The service was good and the people very kind and helpful it is good place for relaxation after long trip but the heater was not working only cold water in the toilet"

"Beautiful, peaceful, exceptional staff!"

"This place is so remote and peaceful! The bungalow we had had an outdoor shower and bathroom and it was a little bit hard to get adjusted to the nature sounds at night time! If you want to remove yourself from civilization and be the one with oneself and nature, this is the place. I liked that they did not have Tv in the room or internet Wi-Fi (only at the restaurant). The food was amazing!! - best veggie soup/ Greek salad and omelet I ever had! + fresh fruits in the morning 100%. Also this...

"Was excellent"

"This place ia very serene. Perfect for those who wants to relax. The staff were friendly, they catered to all our request. The location was just far from center"

"This was a great find for us. It's quiet and it of the way. Peaceful and set in rice paddy fields whilst only 10 minute walk to the Indo/StarMart or Babi Guling. Our 3 room villa had a private pool, small kitchen and dining area. TV facilities weren't connected until we asked. Restaurant area is nice and affordable. Decent variety. Pool area is great for adults and family and bring open a a local water park you get to mingle with locals in the afternoon. The staff were incredible!!! Local...

"The most amazing place, spacious villa, all wood with carvings. Plantation with many different trees and plants. So quiet. Pool area so beautiful with nice furniture. The whole place is out of this world and the people are so nice and helpfull."

"Beautiful view extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended"

"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. We actually went there to look for a potential wedding venue, the people we were supposed...
