「Look, we loved our stay here. We wanted an authentic experience surrounded by real Bali. Real locals, not overrun with tourists, good food and away from the traffic and bustle. It was perfect. We met with our local Balinese friends here that were made to feel very welcome. The staff were authentically friendly, no touristy pretense. 「Staff are very nice and helpful, facilities are good, located near Jatiluwih Rice Terraces (which the view is much beautiful than the one in Ubud). Surrounded by rice fields, great view. As it is located in rural area, various kind of insects are unavoidable, but the hotel still does very good by using different controls. Food is good. Will come again if we go to Jatiluwih.」

Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. Didn’t realize how much I’d missed feeling so close to nature. The tent was cozy, the views unreal, and the little details showed how much care went into it all. 「We had an excellent stay at the property. Amazing, quiet villa. Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. The food was delicious at the restaurant. The hotel driver, Made, drove us to wherever we needed to go and gave us a great tour of the area, so definitely ask for him at reception if you need to travel around!」

「A beautiful setting along the south western coast. Small roads lead through a few villages to an isolated setting along the ocean. Villas are sturdy, comfortable, spacious (probably a bit more than necessary) and well equipped. WIFI works but a tad slow. The grounds, pools and public pavilions along the waterfront are quite nice. Landscaping is high quality. The rstaurant (The Lily) is very good and has an excellent small bakery attached. Enjoyed our stay. Will return.」
