“This was our second year of coming to Graceful Acres for a quilting retreat. Ages were 62 - 80. Fellowship and time sewing was so awesome. The nooks and crannies of this house were inviting for conversation and quality time with my Quilting Sisters. Thanks to David and his crew!”

The highlight was the warm, rustic ambiance created by the amazing interior wood-burning fireplace, which made the evenings incredibly cozy in this picturesque log home. This was beautifully complemented by the charming outdoor fire pit, perfect for stargazing and late-night conversation. A huge, stress-free bonus was that the owner generously provides the firewood, ensuring there was an abundant supply for both features throughout our entire……

“The place was perfect for our group. Everything from the beds to fire pit to hot tub to the kitchen was above our expectations! Minisplits in each bedroom for customizable climate control was a big plus as well. Peter was a great and very communicative host. We will definitely come here again when in the area. Five stars!”

“This is an amazing property to stay at! Our group of 20 were all blown away by the beauty of the home, amenities, and special touches provided by the owners. We loved it so much that we plan to book this location again next winter, and possibly even for a summer trip that we do every year. Also, the opening and closing steps were 'few' and 'easy', a bonus!Highly recommend!”

“This was a wonderful house for our extended family vacation. There was plenty of space for 15 of us ranging from 3 months to seniors. The house was fully stocked with all the essentials. If you need space for a large group and don’t mind a bit of a drive to places of interest, this house will meet your needs. The only downside was lack of cell service, however good WiFi at the house. We had to find directions before leaving the house since it took awhile to pick up service for google maps. ”

“The property exceeded our expectations! The host answered questions in a timely manner. We stayed for a girls basketball tournament weekend. The girls and parents all had such a great time! The beds are all comfortable and the kitchen is fully loaded. The hot tub is devine and the parents all left wanting a Miele coffee system of our own. Nobody wanted the trip to end. Five stars does not do the property or host justice!”

“What a beautiful cabin, has everything you need for a home away from home. The decor of the cabin was a nice touch. Great job!!!!Being on the river with the outside setting with a fire pit was peaceful and relaxing. Being able to see the deer every morning and evening cross the river was a nice surprise we timed that like clock work being able to see the deer every day. Every thing was perfect with our stay. “Overall quality better than we had imagined. The kitchen in the pavilion was clean and very effective to serve a large crowd. The space it provides is great. The yard was mowed nicely which is always a plus for games & etc. If anything could make an awesome place a bit better, it would be 2 professional style pickleball courts with good lighting, though this totally didn't keep us from having a great time. Thank you!”
