“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“Apart from the inconvenience caused by the road maintenance outside the hotel, the living experience was good overall.”

“Room we had was getting a bit tired Drawer units were showing signs of wear on the edges. Both chairs were threadbare on arms and along the top of the back. Bathroom sink had 6 inch curved crack in it Room number 69”

“lovely remote destination, solitude is the key , no light pollution , see the stars clearly and lovely walks in the morning ”

“The steam room is nice. My check-in included choosing breakfast at 7:30am or 9:30am. I arrived on the moment for 9:30. Food in steam tray was either gone or had been there too long. I was made to feel I was the inconvenience. Dining rm thinks meal is between half 7 & half 9. Desk needs to be accurate b/cI would have preferred an 8:30 arrival for some berries!”

“Enjoyed the stay. Room was very good. A little dated. Room service not so good. Never topped up coffee milk etc. sundries which you had to pay for were missing which could have lead to being charged for something we did not have. Had to remind reception twice of this. But would stop there again as overall experience was good ”
