“Our stay at Hotel Atlantis Copacabana was extremely disappointing, especially regarding cleanliness, hygiene and guest care. Both my brother and I were shocked by the lack of cleanliness in the rooms and at the breakfast buffet. The worst incident involved a staff member who introduced herself as Claudia and was stationed at the breakfast entrance. My brother was sick in our room with flu-like and gastrointestinal symptoms, so he responsibly stayed there to avoid infecting other guests. I asked……

“Starting with the great location, which gives you easy access to restaurants and beaches in Ipanema and Copacabana. Also, the attention and communication from the host were awesome. And of course, the room was amazing, spotless, and exactly as shown in the pictures, with clean, comfy beds and bathrooms. The only deal-breaker for me was the stairs that take me to my room on the 3rd floor, but I wouldn’t doubt staying here again for sure.”

“Did not like the fact that I sent an email explaining that my flight was cancel 18 hours prior to schedule arrival to the hotel. However, I was still charge for that day and was told to take it up with the airline. Upon entering the room it was not service. The bathroom was not cleaning, the soap dishes and commode were dirty. The green blanket on the bed was also dirty. However, my second night in the room the blanket was removed and replace with a clean one.”
