“Good place for vacation. A bit over priced ”

“This used to be a hunting lodge so it looks exactly like a lodge, with lots of wood. It is by the loch with a magnificent view from the restaurant terrace. Unfortunately no lift to go upstairs so it was a bit difficult for my wife. The restaurant food was good but seemed pre-prepared so they can’t adjust the dishes. “The property is located a 15-minute walk from the Pitlochry Station and is located on top of a hill. I would suggest taking a taxi if you have luggage. The property itself is beautiful and clean. Our room was quiet even though it was located near to the pub. We enjoyed walking the grounds as well. Lots of nice walking trails. The location is walkable to town and to the Blair Distillery which made things easy. ”

“The hotel and staff were lovely from start to finish. Loved the pool, fantastic breakfast. The only negative was the shower and bath. The shower took ages to get warm, and the bath was not draining away the water. I did mention it to reception incase there was a blockage”

“Always like Moness, the outside area is always lovely. The bar, pool and our room was first class. However breakfast was just ok. Nothing special. It wouldn't pur me off going back. 🙂”
