“This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. ”

“No frills accommodation but perfectly equipped for a short stay. Room share a bathroom on a 1:3 ratio approximately and this wasnt an issue for my stay. Host is lovely and very attentitive. These rooms suitable contractors or anyone looking for a solid base to visit the nearby area. Walking distance to local shop, pub and a few chinese takeaways. Area is quiet, bar the seagulls, but for me the rooms are perfect. Clean, tidy and everything you would need. Multiple improvements still……

“The room was nice other than being on the 3rd floor with no elevator and two twin beds instead of a king. The check in is different, you go to the pub next door and they check you in and the young man carried our bags up and down the stairs. “It was nice. Didn’t have any issues. It just wasn’t what I expected. I arrived early and was accommodated by the gentleman on the front desk.
