Amazing stay!

The house and property are even more beautiful than the pictures!! We spent many hours in the gorgeous pool and private beach. The sunsets from the house were breathtaking. Close to many wonderful restaurants and beaches which we used a golf cart to get to with ease. Host and staff were very responsive and made our stay extra special. Host arranged everything for us including a wonderful day on a boat. I celebrated a milestone birthday and they went out of their way to make it extra special. We hope to visit again!!!

LA's BIG 6-0

A group of AIO family members traveled to Playa Flamingo to celebrate my BIG 6-0, and we had an unforgettable time in Costa Rica! The home exceeded our expectations—it was even more stunning than the pictures.The owner was incredible and always quick to respond (I’m convinced she never sleeps!). She went above and beyond, helping us arrange excursions, a private chef, and even a birthday cake. She even surprised me with a thoughtful birthday gift. Her hospitality made our trip truly special!

Stunning property with gorgeous view

I'm in awe of this property, love the floor to ceiling side to side windows in the living room. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and spacious. Bilitis was super helpful in helping me book transportation, catamaran and private chef services. Benjamin and the housekeepers are also very friendly. Loved the stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Even better than pictured

This house was absolutely gorgeous, just like pictured if not even better. The house staff was incredibly helpful, responsive and lovely to be around. The views, decks, pool and patios were jaw dropping and spaces were perfect for our multi generation group of 12, ages 1-65. Rooms had blackout curtains and excellent AC which was very appreciated. The house was very well appointed with anything you might need for cooking, the pool, beach, games and beyond. 11/10.

Casa Frisons Stay

Casa Frisons is an amazing property and Bilitis was an excellent, responsive property manager. We had a group of 5 couples and we enjoyed the overall relaxation, EXPANSIVE views, and comfort the property provided. There are so many outdoor enclaves to read a book or just generally unwind. We strongly suggest getting the golf carts to enjoy the surrounding area that includes the beautiful beach of Playa Flamingo and many fun little restaurants. Thank you to Bilitis and staff!

Breathtaking views!

Lovely spot with beautiful sunsets. House is superbly equipped. Bilitis and her team care for all of your needs. Flamingo beach is nearby as well as a few restaurants. 4 children ( ages 3 to 10) enjoyed zip lining and the 10 year old took a surfing lesson nearby. We also visited the zoo. It was a wonderful relaxing week hanging out with family from 3 to 70.(group of 10) Warm regards to Bilitis. Superbe!

Post-Poned 50th Celebration

Due to the pandemic, this trip was postponed an entire year. Bilitis is amazing from every aspect from check-in, excursions, etc ! The photos online really doesn't do this home and views justice. It is simply spectacular with beautiful views from every window within the house. Every family member enjoyed their stay and the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. We are already planning a trip back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and sharing your beautiful home.

A week of zen

Zero complaints. Lots of praise Staff were attentive and friendly. Gave a strong sense of security and assurance of easy times. The excursions are so fun. Waterfalls and Sloth sanctuary were the best. House is very cool and sits on a gorgeous lot of land. Views and sounds were immaculate. Golf cart gave easy and fun access to beach and shops. NALU is a must try for breakfast. Have a cocktail at Hazel’s in the marina. And coco loco is just sublime as always Superb experience all around. 10/10

Best birthday trip!

This stay was an absolute dream. Book it, you will love it. The house is even more magnificent in person, and we all want to come back again. Bilitis, our host, took care of every detail. The house has everything you need and more, and she booked all of our activities and golf carts, making the trip so easy. The house has amazing staff who took care of us completely. Benjamin, Luis, and the cleaning crew made sure we were always comfortable and had what we needed. Bilitis was communicative from booking through departure, answering every question and helping us modify our reservations as needed. We never needed for anything. Definitely get the golf carts, it made life so easy and allowed guests to come and go as needed. We also booked the private chefs, both Flamingo Foods and Ben and Arthur, and the meals were incredible. Can’t wait to go back!

Unforgettable Birthday Celebration!

Casa Frisons and Playa Flamingo was an amazing experience, better than expected! Our group of 11 adults went to Costa Rica to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Casa Frisons had the perfect arrangement where each couple had their own bedroom w/private bathroom, and we were greeted daily with smiles and kindness from each member of the staff. The host, Bilitis, is very knowledgeable about the area and prompt with suggestions and answers to our many questions. She had 3 golf carts ready for us upon arrival and booked activities like a spa day at the house, a private catamaran charter, and arranged transportation to/from the airport. Based on her recommendations, we hired Chef Fabien to prepare a wonderful birthday dinner right at the house! Our group’s favorite local spot was Hemingway’s. We made wonderful memories during those ten days and highly recommend booking Casa Frisons in Playa Flamingo!

A week in paradise

Our stay at “la Casa Frisons” was just perfect. Bilitis and her adorable son welcomed us upon our arrival and showed us around their gorgeous house. The property met all of our expectations. It is vast and tastefully decorated. We were three families (6 adults and 7 kids) and everybody had a beautiful room with breathtaking views. The Yoga deck is perfect to admire the sunset at night, and the kids loved the little beach we could access directly from the house. Bilitis was the best host you can wish for. In the house, she had prepared a book with precious information regarding restaurants and beaches. She was very helpful in all matters, from recommendations for hiring a private chef to advice on booking surf classes. The staff (maids and guard) was discreet and very efficient. Bilitis and her employees offer an outstanding experience. We will be back!

Trip of a lifetime

We spent Thanksgiving at Casa Frisons and Villa Fugata with 16 people, ranging in age from 7-70. Three generations who all agree that it was the trip of a lifetime with memories we will never forget, thanks to Bilitis. Both houses were spectacular with views you typically only dream about. Every afternoon we gathered around 3pm to start to watch the sunset, which was a highlight that we looked forward to everyday. Planning for 16 is no easy task, but Bilitis was very fast to respond with great recommendations every step of the way. She ensured we had the best chefs, activities planned, transportation, and more. She was there to greet us and give us a tour when we arrived and was also there at departure to send us on our way. Benjamin was wonderful along with the rest of the staff. We felt very safe and taken care of by all. We cannot wait to return to Casa Frison and Villa Fugata. Thank you Bilitis!

Pura Vida at Casa Frisons

Casa Frisons is nothing short of a dream destination, and with 75 five-star reviews, one can't go wrong by booking this exquisite home for a stay in Playa Flamingo. Despite its vast size, this home is arranged in such a way that everyone is able to interact with one another as little or as often as they wish. Each room has a phenomenal view, and is well-appointed, as are the home's common areas. As for the exterior, the pool and views are certainly the focal points, however, a great lower deck offers a perfect location for a massage, and stairs leading down to a private beach afford one access to the peace and tranquility of the pacific without ever having to leave the property. Bilits, your hostess extraordinaire, has assembled an all-star staff, including the incomparable Benjamin, the property's groundskeeper. Additionally, the daily maid service ensures that the property remains spotless at all times and they'll even do your laundry if requested. The numerous vendors with whom Bilitis has established relationships are also top-notch, including Johhny (Rio Celest Hike and airport shuttle); Ben and Aurthur (personal chefs who are certain to prepare one of the best meals you'll have during your entire stay); Boomerang Tours (Emelio, Emerson, and Embellio who will be your guide, captain and cook) for an incredible, private sunset catamaran tour; and a phenomenal team of masseuses, offering private and well-priced massages on the property. Casa Frisons is second to none!

A Magnificent Property

Let me just start by saying: "WOW"!! This property is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking properties we had ever stayed in, and we have had our shares of staying at different properties in different places. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views. Honestly, you did not even need to leave the house. You had everything you needed for a vacation right there at the house; an amazing swimming pool overlooking the Pacific and the sunset; only steps away from the tantalizing rocky beaches and a 10 minute ride with a golf cart to the sandy beaches. However, what was the most important to us was the service that the property manager, Bilitis Vanuxem, provided for us during our stay at this house. She was extremely professional and very organized. She provided a driver (Johnny) for us, who picked us up from the airport and pretty much, he would take us anywhere we needed to go. He was very efficient and always on time. Also, we had maids that cleaned and did our laundry every day, so everything was always spotless. Another major advantage that this property has over the many other ones that I had looked at, is the fact the guy that kept up with this huge property (gardening, etc....) actually lived on the property, so not only we felt quite safe, but also if we needed anything any time of the day or night, he was right there on the property ready to assist us. I can't say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of Bilitis, (helped with booking excursions, providing a chef, restaurant reservations, etc.....), and the pictures of the website speak the truth about this property. It is exactly what you see in those pictures. It is also very close to the super market, and many other local restaurants and literally, all you need is a golf cart to get around. If you are planning to take a trip to Costa Rica, this IS the place to stay! Thanks Bilits for everything and we had an amazing time! One week was too short!

The #1 Spot - Must stay here!

I doubt there are enough characters in this review to describe how out of this world our experience was at Casa Frison’s. Playa Flamingo is the cutest little town with the perfect amount of restaurants, shops, and grocery stops. La Plaza at the very end of the street has just about everything you would need and the main beach is just a quick ride down the street. The property is unreal. WINDOWS for dayyyys! You can see nothing but ocean from basically every window in the house. We had 9 guests total. Various ages over 30 up to late 70s. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There was always a nook to disappear to if you wanted privacy or just wanted a peaceful place to read a book. We got massages, a yoga lesson, did a catamaran cruise, rented golf carts. It was all so amazing and if you can do any of all of those things I would recommend it! I had a very small just immediate family wedding ceremony and it was the most beautiful day of my life. The property is huge with lots of lawn space. We worked with a local florist, photographer, and used flamingo foods to be our chef for the day and I could not say enough about how amazing everyone did! The chef is absolutely worth it even just for one special night at the house. The pool is long enough to do some laps and has a pretty deep end so you can fully emerge. The sunrise and sunset are easily seen from the house and we enjoyed them every single day. I will literally dream about coming back here every day till I make it happen. Our go to spot for larger groups staying in Playa Flamingo. The host Bilitis was a dream. Helped to arrange anything we would want to do and make the trip truly flawless. Her kindness and level of service is truly next level. I really don’t think the trip would have been half as smooth without her help. The house staff was so kind and nice. We felt like they were all family by the time we were leaving. Cleaning and taking care of the outdoor areas/pool. Just so nice to think of nothing but relaxing and enjoying Costa Rica. The weather was literally perfect. Breezy a little more on the back side of the house but it was enjoyable in the 3pm heat! We were loving the sun! So much love to Casa Frison’s. Highly highly recommend.

Fantastic Property (get the golf carts!)

This house was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by kind staff who walked us through the property. The property itself was spacious, clean, with amazing views. The pool area was a great place to relax. The small private beach was a cute spot to visit, but the main Flamingo beach, easily reachable via rented golf carts that the owner arranged, was perfect (few people, spots to eat, some shade, and amazing waves). Perhaps the warmest water I've been in. Bilitis (the owner) recommended great restaurants (once again easy to reach via the golf carts) and arranged a great boat tour for us. It was our first stop in Costa Rica and we couldn't have been happier.

Wonderful Home in a Beautiful Location

The house is in an amazing location with wonderful views of the ocean and Flamingo Beach. There was plenty of room for our family. Bilitis, the property manager, is responsive and very nice. The house is close to the beach, local area restaurants and the marina. Definitely recommend having a car or renting golf carts, which we did. Would definitely recommend staying here
