"Really charming staff, but breakfast ordered for the room never arrived. No reply from any of the phone numbers on the internal phone. Good room, but hotel is a little tired for the money."

"The staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was very good, but the property is very dated. The bathroom was awkward because the tub walls were very high. The hallways and rooms are furnished in dark, depressing colors. The AC unit was located directly above our bed and began to leak condensation on our final day."

"Excellent location & reasonable price for the area. Some great pubs within walking distance. Hotel doesn’t really have any amenities, breakfast was at another building & wasn’t great with quality of breakfast & choice poor."

"The common areas were very nice; well maintained and quite nice. My concern was with the room itself. There just seemed to be a lack of “care.” When we checked in there was a half-eaten bag of nuts on the bathroom counter and several of those nuts were scattered on the floor in the bedroom. We appreciated the large flat screen TV but where it was placed obscured artwork on the wall behind it - nothing terrible, but it just seemed to indicate a lack of attention. Lastly, it didn’t appear the exterior windows had been cleaned in years…."

"No shampoo in the room, the bathroom floor was cracked and the shower was too small, if you drop something, you won’t be able to bend to get it. Hair dryer sometimes turn on by itself and light went off 2 times."

"I arrived into London on an early flight so went straight to the hotel where I was told my room was ready. Then I was told that if I wanted to check-in I would have to pay an additional £55! I went to work and returned at 4pm and check-in was an absolute disaster - I was passed between 3 different receptionists. I eventually got to my room at 4.45pm. Have been using this hotel for almost 20 years and every year the service level declines which is so disappointing!"
