“Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. There was no one around in morning to find out about……

“We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The house has plenty of room and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome and well stocked. The views off the back deck were amazing! Misty mountains in the mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. We did a couple of great hikes in the Pisgah National Forest and walked the new Ecusta Trail also. And we visited Biltmore in Asheville which was very memorable. This property is great but it takes time getting to and from it up in the……
