Starting from the greetings for my birthday with chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine, ending with dinners and amazing ocean view that is there from the terrace. The hotel is located among the banana plantations on the hill, and feels peaceful and calm. Staff is friendly and attentive, helped us with local recommendations. But some nights we just didn’t want to leave, so stayed for the dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is amazing with great food. "

The villa is spacious, well appointed and almost every bedroom has a view of the sea. There is lots of space for families to spread out. The pool is large and there is a beautiful sitting area for dining while watching the sunset every night! Carlos is a responsive and kind person to work with and he made sure that everything was perfect during our stay. He responded to our one minor issue immediately! ( that is very important when traveling with the family!) The neighboring village of Ponte do Sol is beautiful with many restaurants on the sea. Funchal is only 25 minutes away. We highly recommend this beautiful villa. We have many happy memories!"
