"The staff were nice. The breakfast was included and had a variety of fresh food daily. Especially appreciated the drying line in the shower so bathing suits could be hung up to dry. The only downside was the parking situation: a very small underground garage that didn't say it was full (first come, first served), and street parking was next to impossible to find, unless you parked before 6 pm or after 9:30 pm, as many people come to see the sunset (which IS beautiful). No street or underground parking reserved for guests at the hotel. Except for the parking difficulties, a very nice and relaxing stay."

"Our stay was nothing short of magical. When we arrived late at night, we were greeted by the warm glow of the villa and the beautifully lit pool. The sight of the moon shining over the town took our breath away—we couldn’t believe we were lucky enough to stay in such a gorgeous place. Each morning, we were thrilled to wake up and take in those stunning views in the daylight—they were even more breathtaking than the pictures!We made so many wonderful family memories here. The terrace by the pool was perfect for dancing, swimming, reading, and enjoying dinners under the stars. We loved the well-stocked kitchen and the outdoor barbecue area. Mornings began with yoga on the downstairs terrace and the cheerful wake-up call of a rooster!The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable, with custom bedding and towels adding a special touch. The house had everything we needed, and the hospitality of our host was unparalleled—they even greeted us late at night upon arrival and shared their own story of falling in love with Madeira and treated us to delicious local wine. Their restaurant recommendations were spot-on, and we enjoyed every single one.Memories were made that will last a lifetime."

"The communication and booking process was simple and clear. Being greeted on arrival with a quick tour of the villa was great. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The villa was very clean and we had no issues with the electric or hot water all week. 4 adults staying for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. We had the most wonderful week and the weather was warm and a mix of sun and cloud which allowed us to explore as we wished of the beautiful island.Kitchen was well equipped with all you could need and more.Had great fun playing table tennis! Pool was a great addition and used most days. The only comment we would make, would be, it would be nice to have seating outside that was more comfortable for the older generation. Parents struggled to get down to the sunbeds to sit and without any support on back on the bench had to resort to going inside. Car hire given the location was a good choice and the directions and photos of how to get to the villa were fantastic. The local rally was on, the cars driving right past the villa made for an exciting mornings viewing. The drive up to the villa is quite a steep hill but once you got the hang of it no trouble. We would love to return to the villa again in the future as there is still so much to see of the island. "
