「Wonderful 3 night stay in a deluxe room, food in BLOK was divine and we loved our time using the indoor pool, such a beautiful hotel, staff are a real credit to this place, especially Helen at breakfast time who helped us plan our days out.」

「We had a great stay. One of the best value hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Yes it could do with some TLC but for the price we paid, more than happy. Great breakfast and the spa was super.」

「The hotel is a little dated but with good facilities. Two things let it down. The room on the ground floor had no aircon on the hottest day of the year. The windows can barely open and let any fresh air and provide no privacy. Finally, there is an unacceptable and very expensive charge for the car park. Overall, not a pleasant stay and poor value for money.」

「The hotel is quiet with extensive areas for guests. The Leisure suite is excellent with sauna, steam room and a spacious, well equipped gym. Breakfast has lots of choice although the options have definitely been reduced since we were last there 6-8 years ago. Parking is plentiful and the views across the valley are beautiful. 「The exterior of the building is wonderful along with the grounds. The interior however is extremely run down and our first room We were given smelt damp and had to be moved to a better room but still then extremely basic and cleaning standard not great. Not helped also by the fact they only offer housekeeping every 3 days. Hotel with huge potential but not being looked after and requires urgent attention would not recommend anyone to stay there」
