“We had lovely hosts! The breakfast was delicious and we could've only wished to have stayed longer! The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag. The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!”

“The property was nice inside but the room we had was in the old part wasn’t very clean a lot of dust furniture tatty curtains hanging off the rail water stains on ceiling paint all flaking on the walls in the window and a lot of cold coming from the windows really bad stains on the mattress but the towels and bedding was very clean left the portable heater on all nite to keep the room warm”

“Lovely small quiet hotel in a great area of Sheffield right next to Encliffe Park & walks into the Peak District. Friendly staff & lovely editions to the room, lovely toiletries, water & milk in the fridge & delicious homemade brownies. We got upgraded to a lovely room with a roll top bath. ”

“What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks……
