“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”

“This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield ”

“Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall……

“We had a wonderful stay at The Renishaw, the room was clean and fresh, everything we needed for our stay. The room was nice and warm and a comfortable bed. The only slight negative - car park floods terribly right by the entrance when it rains so beware of this. We also had a cheeky breakfast as it was a Saturday stay, the staff could not have done more , very accomodating and the food was great . ”
