"This 1840 mansion is beautiful. We stayed in the Grant Suite where 70% of the furnishings were original. It sent shivers up my spine to know we slept in General Ulysses Grant's bed. I wish we had been there for a meal. The dining room and menu were inviting. All was perfect except the entry. They need to make it a little wider. It's on a hill and hard to see the driveway over the crest, especially after dark."

"The room was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights, nothing was replenished ( coffee. Notions , cups). Breakfast was fabulous. We did not use the pool, so cant talk about it. Very close to national park and mall and historic Vicksburg. "

"Indoor pool and hot tub were closed due to parts ordered to repair heated pool. Staff was not welcoming by any means. Breakfast was good. Room and sheets were clean. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t fabulous either. I would stay there again."
