Beautiful clean rooms friendly service

We got a great rate for a spacious room & bathroom!!! $110 & $95 for two nights, Sat/Sun. Near airport, 205 & other freeways, 25 miles from Multnomah Falls & restaurants nearby.

I was disappointed a major hotel chain discribed as an 'airport' location did not offer airport shuttle services. The restaurant was closed before our 7PM arrival. The desk receptionist was cordial and gave accurate directions for our 1/2 walk to a restaurant..

We had trouble with the bathroom faucet and toilet. The person on duty came and helped us figure that out. He brought ice directly to our room, so I didn't have to go back to the front to get ice. He went above and beyond what was expected. The hotel itself was very nice and fancier than I was expecting. The price was decent.

Ok but not great

Very convenient for airport traveling. Liked having a kitchen area with frig, sink, and microwave. Hallways were dirty - carpet needs replaced in hallways and room! Very stained! Window unit air conditioners give poor output .

The receptionist employee was great handling the situation. However, the a/c in the room was broken, apparently the a/c machines in the rooms are old and malfunction, and switching rooms was not easy. And I was told by another guest not to leave anything in the car. Apparently a very unsafe location.

This was probably a beautiful jewel of a property ....in 1975. Today it is very dated, tired and badly in need of updating. The staff was super nice and meticulous about cleaning it, although it's an uphill battle. I am sad for the owners that COVID seems to have hit them particularly hard. The restaurant was closed, so I can't comment on that.

The room smelled musty when we 1st arrived but got better. The carpet was dirty, as discovered when cleaning a spill. Both bathroom faucets were hard to turn on. The toilet runs. The 'fridge had a thick slap of ice covering the top shelf.

I stayed in a non smoking room, but the hallway smelled of smoke, the room has a faint smell of smoke and in the bathroom there were cigarette burns on the counter. When I showered the smoke smell really came out and smelled. The reason because of the strong smoke smell is the facility is old and needs serious remodeling and updating. Otherwise it’s very roomy.

Our August stay

The air conditioner didn’t work properly. The room was every warm making it difficult to sleep at night. We asked for a fan and never received one. Carpet was not vacuumed between furniture. Using the shower was a challenge. The faucet needs to be replaced actually the whole tub area needs to be replaced. This motel needs an update. The pluses are friendly staff, quiet rooms and area, bath room was clean. Loved the size of the room.
