"The location of this property is excellent--close to the center of town yet somewhat further up the road, with a beautiful view of the town. Staff are kind and helpful and the restaurant is great. "
"Staff were brilliant and so helpful and friendly going the extra mile to help us out - the accommodation was clean and very nicely decorated and the hotel itself was in a stunning location could not fault it!"
"We loved our stay in Applecross! The cabin was lovely and the area is wonderfully quiet. Coffee in the morning on the porch with a highland view was incredible. "
"We loved our stay at Juniper Cabins. It was clean, quiet, comfortable with delicious(but pricey )food at the restaurant on property. We would recommend. "

Colourful houses ring the harbour of this charming Isle of Skye capital, where seafood restaurants and cosy pubs await. Hike the nearby Quiraing for stunning views, or take a boat tour to spot seals and eagles along the rugged coastline.
Don't miss the Harbour. Fantastic bookstore. I lost my brolly in the town. A young woman in the coffee shop gave me one that was in their cupboard.

Portree is a quaint little picturesque town. Taxi and transportation is a bit lacking (even if they are there, they typically do not do the short stints), so if you don't have a car, expect a lot of walking. Private tour was amazing.

Great for a weekend. November was perfect as weather was good and the island was quiet and no Midgies!

I travel through Portree a lot and dont usually stop especially in Summer as too many tourists but really enjoyed my evening there and my favourite two shops - the soap shop and the batik shop.

Portree is small and worth spending an hour to explore. We travelled in February, so it was very quiet.

"Staying here was a wonderful experience, from the service to the ambiance. It's close to town but peacefully removed from it as well. We loved staying in the cabins and wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was also delicious!"
"Booked a one night stay here and was pleasantly surprised at its location and quality of stay. Dinner here was excellent. Room was clean and very comfortable. View across the water was beautiful."
"My single room with a gorgeous view of the bay was perfect for me. Check-in and out were very easy, it was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was convenient to be in town and able to walk to everything. I would recommend to others and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "
