“Friendly staff throughout the hotel Breakfast was ample with fruit, cereal and English breakfast all buffet style”

“Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered.”

“Service charge of 10% is a bit high on the restaurant bill.”

“very good”

“This hotel is one of the Old English Inns. Very vintage style, clean, and comfort. If you want to try some typical English countryside, it is. The location may not suit for those don't drive.”

“Attending an events in Silverstone circuit. Thought of staying the night in hotel rather than driving after the event. Location is good. I choose to booked a room not facing the circuit. But was allocated a room with a blocked view of circuit facing back of the seats on the stand. And the worst is: room is right next to the floor entrance door, you could hear the noise of door open and close everytime guests pass the door. Could barely sleep because of the noise. It’s on a Sunday and staff……

“Where decent breakfast and ample Parking - also quiet for sleeping. No complaints.”

“Excellent stay at the Hopping Hare. Food is really really good and the room was large and comfortable.”
