"From the first day of arrival, we checked in and found “new” slippers for us to wear around the place. But it was dirty. Clearly not new and worn before. Found this absolutely disgusting.Then we found a period pad wrapper under my 5 yr old and 3 yr old daughter’s bed. And thought no way?! Because there were streak marks of the hoover being done under the bed. So surely this should’ve been picked up.Then we noticed our room bin had an old plastic drinking bottle and tissue in the bin. "Loved this hotel! Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights. Great location close to lots of shopping and dining. The breakfast at the cafe downstairs was AMAZING! Irine at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. Loved that we were able to have our luggage held before and after our stay. We will return. "

"Staff was great, room okay for 3 people. Breakfast buffet was good but did lack in the beverage section. Coffee machines broken, was there for 6 days and not one repaired, juices were almost always empty. Found that when bus tour groups were in need to have more staff. Felt bad for the staff in the dining area as they really worked hard to keep up. Hotel a little off the main streets but got used to it pretty quick. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Point A in Edinburgh. Good location, lots within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed water bottles filled. The room is quite small, but has everything you would need and the layout is well planned given the small space. Very reasonable price! "
