“We love this place so much! We've stayed here I think 4 times now. I told my family if I ever disappear and they can't find me, to check here first because this is where I'm going if I ever run away from home. Peace, quiet, fresh air, wildlife... it has everything I want in a getaway. At high tide, the ocean is literally below the windows and under the deck. At low tide, you have a nice pebble beach to walk on. At night there is a floodlight you can turn on that lights up the water - this trip……

“The Sunlit Cottage in Capitol Hill met our needs while we were in Seattle. The neighborhood was quiet. There was ample street parking each night. The bed was comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our host (Michael) was very good about communicating when we had questions for him. This was our first Vrbo stay and we were quite pleased. We hope to stay at the cottage again on any future trips to Seattle. Thanks Michael.Kelly & Joe”

“ Plenty of room for 2 adults, and 1 of me loved the space. The view is probably one of the best on Whidbey Island. Quiet, secluded, & friendly hosts. Neat, clean and all theessentials. I would not hesitate to book again.”

“The view was amazing. There was no access to the private beach as advertised due to significant damage to the stairs. The hammock had weeds growing through it and the patio furniture was pretty moss covered. We did enjoy both the outdoor and indoor fireplaces which was lovely, however we were concerned there was no smoke detectors or fire extinguisher incase of an accident. Overall it was a nice stay with outstanding sunset views. ”

“Tt was clean, adorable and RIGHT on the beach! lots of parking! hot tub was big and clean, very relaxing. Water pressure was great for showers! We saw the gray whales coming through while we were there!! It was magical! The view is spectacular as you look across towards Marysville with lots of beautiful mountain peaks. Only 2 things to note, of you like Livingroom ambiance bring a lamp as the lighting is efficient but a bit harsh for nighting and if your looking for a stargazing hot tub……

“It was a nice enough property. Owners are a busy family but, responsive to any issues. Some older kitchen supplies, a couple of clean but stained towels, couch well used.We bought a vacuum as we were a long stay.It suited our needs, had a pretty view, and we would stay there again. We bought a vacuum because we long stay.”

“My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Margo’s cottage. It was just the right size for the 2 of us. Beautiful view of the water from the bedroom. Private and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Margo!”

“We had a great stay. The owner lives next to the home and we enjoyed watching them take their little pack outside. There were also a lot of deer and bunnies. The place was really comfortable and we will be back.”

“Fabulous and quirky house full of nostalgia and really fun art. Loved the house for our family. The upstairs was such a neat place with a beautifully remodeled bathroom. The whole family could fit. Lots of good vibes and squeaky charm. Jon and Kara are wonderful hosts and easy to connect with. Our 4 year old granddaughter wanted to stay longer and the 9 month old baby slept great. Can't say enough good things. The location was excellent and easy to get to the beach. Try it out if you……

“The location of the property & provision for off street parking was great. A short walk through well tended/ quiet residential streets toward Green Lake was a welcomed feature after a long travel day. At the north end of the lake there are cafes and a local PCC grocery which also has a fun deli for take out items.The kitchen was stocked with dishes, flatware plus a modest bit of cookware. We only used the space for breakfast as most of our meals were hosted by family or enjoyed at local……
