“Great place to stay during Mayo treatment. Breakfasts were fantastic. Pet friendliness was great.”

“As visitors at Mayo we were unsure where to stay. This hotel is clean, staff is nice, beds are so comfortable, pillows are standard size, bathrooms are good size. Rates are good. It is a 15 minute drive to the Gonda Building. You have room to move and breathe in this room. Parking is convenient and air conditioning works well.”

“Bed was comfortable, nice staff, but the property needs a little TLC but the breakfast is pretty good. I wish they had conditioner and not just shampoo. Good for the price overall. I would stay there again (I live out of town and stay for doctors appointments at Mayo)”

“The property grounds were very nice and well kept. The interior was well kept and clean. The room was clean and spacious but could use some minimal maintenance such as touchup paint, patching a hole created by the door handle in the sleeping area and fixing the icemaker in the freezer section of the refrigerator. The staff was extremely helpful. Overall it was a good place to stay and budget friendly.”

“You could live with the tired property but the beds felt like there were springs coming out of them and the pillows and sheets were terrible. Needless to say both my husband and I had a horrible night sleep. The location is great. It’s an old hotel that needs renovating badly. I would stay there again if they got new beds and bedding”

“I loved it was right across the street from Mayo Clinic. On Thursday evenings downtown they have a marvelous festival with music and so many vendors. You have to check out the fudge. The staff was great and I received immediate results from questions and requests.”

“We were surprised with an upgrade to a 2-bedroom suite which was a very welcome treat for a mom of toddlers! The suite was spacious and clean with room for a pack n play, stroller wagon, and floor puzzles while still being able to freely move around. The setup is perfect for family and long-term stays especially. A great mini-cation for my kids and me!”

“Good location and parking. Had terrible food at the onsite restaurant, Crave. Facilities are run down, staff weren’t the friendliest. Room wasn’t as clean as you would hope for.”
