"Staff was friendly and helpful. Booked us a wine tasting and tour at check in. Recommended restaurants in the area. Breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of fresh food choices and an omelette station. Great pool area with breathtaking views of the Douro River. Comfy sun loungers. Our room was clean and spacious. Only downside was a lot of steps up and down from our room to the restaurant and pool. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. "

" Very nice guesthouse with fantastic hosts. A very good breakfast with a nice variety of food including homemade sweet breads and jam . We recommend getting a dinner there. Hiking trails through the vineyards nearby. "

"Anna greeted us upon arrival and not only checked us in, but walked us to our room. The property is wonderful, clean, well attended and in a perfect location. Staff are always available and smiling. Breakfast buffets are numerous, plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed our room with a balcony overlooking the river very much. "
