「This property was a classic property in Paonia. We had a very pleasant stay with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. It’s in a central area of Paonia which made it convenient to walk around. We would definitely return. The only disadvantage I could see is it is not an accessible property from what I noticed. Otherwise definitely a good choice.」

「The hitching post is exactly what I look for in a place to stay, good price, clean, the rooms were spacious (got the king bed room), staff were quite friendly even calling me the day before to see which way I was coming because of road closures!!! All in all a wonderful stay!!!」

「The inn is an easy, beautiful 25-minute drive away from the North Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
